What We Do.
Our philosophy is to prevent the generation of dust at the source, before it enters the environment, rather than trying to remove or suppress it after it has escaped into the air.
Our system is an effective, low cost, low maintenance, long term solution to prevent fugitive dust. It is easy to install and can be used with various bulk loading systems and dry, free flowing materials.
The DSH hopper is installed under a loose bulk material infeed point, where it is suspended in a fixed location above a receiving vessel or loading area. As the hopper fills the product level rises, and the springs extend progressively opening the flow control gap and balancing the product flowing in and out of the hopper.
Our unique design expels air and forms an annular flow that is then compressed radially into a solid column as it exits the hopper. The solid discharge column falls through the air virtually dust free for many metres, before driving into the pile formed on the floor or in a receiving vessel, resulting in minimal dust release and product loss

DSH hoppers come in a range of sizes, with varied loading capacities. Depending on product type, bulk density and desired flow rates, our team will determine the appropriate construction material, size, as well as any specialized recommendations that may be required.
Customization.
Our systems are able to fully customized to meet your needs. Whether the hopper is required to fit into a tight or unusual shaped space, there are access restrictions, or your products are corrosive or fine and extremely dusty, we have a solution - and if we don’t, we will find one!

Reduced width hoppers are ideal for small space, or where access is tricky.

Flat sided hoppers are a great solution for installations where a round hopper just might not fit.

The PFC model (Positional Feed Control) has a computerised discharge rate control system for products with different specific gravities; thus allowing the load-out of various materials on the same conveyor system. All DSH system models can be configured for PFC configuration.

Our DSH TARDIS hoppers are a flange mounted enclosed system specifically designed for ship loading or other chute end mounted applications. This design eliminates dust at the hopper inlet and makes for easier installation, manoeuvrability and loading.

Our custom dust filter covers fit perfectly around the top of the hopper, and help to reduce dust around the inlet.

For those extra tough materials, we can add a ceramic lining inside the hopper body, to help reduce wear.

With products where static build up is an issue, we can supply static electricity earth straps to minimise danger.

Polyethylene rotational moulded hoppers cover most general applications and can be used with some corrosive products.

Corten Steel is long-lasting and can be used with abrasive or warm products. It has high durability, is relatively light weight, has corrosive resistance and is very strong.
Our Corten steel is powder coated to increase durability in harsh environments and to reduce chipping, fading, scratching and wearing. Corten Steel can also be electro galvanized for added protection against corrosive products.

Hardox Steel is long-lasting and can be used with abrasive or warm products. It is resistant to abrasion and can withstand heavy duty use whilst remaining very strong.
Our Hardox steel is powder coated to increase durability in harsh environments and to reduce chipping, fading, scratching and wearing. Hardox Steel can also be electro galvanized for added protection against corrosive products.

Stainless Steel has high resistance to corrosion. We offer both 304 and 316 Stainless Steel Hoppers.
304 Stainless Steel is suitable for warm or abrasive products.
316 Stainless Steel is suitable for food grade situations.

Our systems loading capacities can range from 50 tonnes per hour up to more than 2000 tonnes per hour.
Our products range from the DSH Mini up to the DSH 9, and each model is specifically rated in processing tph depending on the product type, bulk density and flowrate.
Installation.
DSH systems require no services (electricity, pneumatics, or hydraulics) to function and most cases, are able to be easily integrated into existing loading facilities with minimal downtime to schedules. Where site specific engineering is required, we will work alongside you to develop a unique solution to ensure the system is installed correctly and performs to your expectations.
Materials.
DSH hoppers are specifically developed to reduce and control dust when bulk loading dry, granular free-flowing products. Item description

The DSH can be used for sea or inland port loading of open bulk carrier ships and barges. We have installed our systems with slewing, co-ordinate, radial traveling, linear travelling and stationary ship loaders, as well as stackers.

DSH loading systems can be used to load covered hopper rail cars, open-top and centre slotted rail cars. With the DSH’s high mounting point there is no need for telescopic equipment, which makes loading railcars seamless.

The DSH can be used for open and closed truck and trailer loading. DSH truck loaders have been installed under filling silos, off conveyor systems, off the side of large bins, under floors and with stackers. With reduced dust comes cleaner vehicles and yards, and more efficient loading.

The DSH can be used for container, bag, or drum filling. By minimising air and compacting the product, you maximise capacity when filling, and remove the need for time spent settling the product. The DSH also makes for a cleaner, safer environment for those working nearby.

The DSH can be used for warehouse store and open stacking/stockpile loading. We have installed DSH Systems for use with conveyors, trippers, and stackers. With less fugitive dust floating around, both air quality and visibility are improved, and warehouses or yards are kept free of dust or debris.

DSH can be installed to support Ship Loading, Belt, Screw and Aeration Conveyors, Hopper and Silos.
